Welcome!

Welcome to our new website. We're delighted you've found us, as you're obviously either a coffee lover just like us, or you are looking to buy for someone else who loves coffee. Whichever it is, you've come to the right place! We've been roasting and supplying coffee since 2012 and we'd like to think that we've learnt a thing or two about coffee during that time. So you may be interested to know how and why we set the business up. Well, after too many years to mention working as a civil engineer, Steve was unfortunately made redundant. This was quite early on in the recession, when jobs in this field were few and far between, so after much soulsearching and the shedding of a few tears, we decided to look on the bright side and recognise that this was an opportunity for us to do something different. We are both big foodies, with a love of real ales and freshly roasted coffees, and for many years we had been buying our coffees from a roaster down South, as we had been unable to source a supplier of good coffee beans locally. After considering a number of different options as to what we could do, such as opening up our own deli/international food store or setting up a chilli farm, it was like one of those light bulb moments, when one Saturday morning after we'd just taken delivery of our latest order of coffees, we just turned to each other and thought...I know, how about a coffee roastery! And that was it, we started researching and learning everything we could about roasting machines, coffee suppliers, farmers, packaging etc. Steve booked himself onto a roasting course at the London School of Coffee, and six months later after many more tears, and many challenges overcome, we finally launched! And here we are now eight years on, still doing what we love, with a new logo and a new website. So welcome, and I hope you find something you like!
